This week has been very very good. It started on Monday afternoon. The former Japan manager Lasse were holding his farewell speech in the canteen. He is leaving IKEA Japan for IKEA Italy! It was a real privilege, we had a chance to briefly introduce ourselves. Later that afternoon a man approached us while we were working down stairs, remodeling the lighting department. It was one of the people that helped us to make the dream of internship in IKEA Japan come true! Mr. Lundgreen, head of Japanese market. Finally we got the chance to thank him in person.
On Thursday we got the privilege to meet Mrs Hane. The marketing team was having a meeting at the store in Shin Misato. She is also one of the persons that have followed our journey from Sweden to Japan. She showed a lot of interest in collaboration with us, so we are looking forward to meet her again. She is looking for a contact at the Swedish embassy. Anna and Louisa are going there next week with Lasse Nygård. And we will talk about this and see how this collaboration could prolong.
We are using all the skills we have learned in school. And once again the Entrepreneurial college succeeds!
